Another is a coachman, who people claim to have seen wandering about the kitchen. The weirdest part is that people claim to have heard a piano playing throughout the house, despite there being no piano! Eek.
7. Buckland Abbey, Devon
This house is 700 years old, and promises a wealth of historical tidbits. You can go and visit… if you dare.

That’s because this house is famously haunted – by none other than the famous sea captain, Sir Francis Drake.
He was famous for defeating the Spanish Armada
Buckland became Sir Francis’ home following his return from his three year journey around the globe.
