This has been linked to the supernatural: namely, the villagers who once lived there practised habits to deter vampires. Who knows – maybe they’re still around…
13. Felbrigg Hall, Norfolk
This is another old house – this one dating back to the 17th century, and built in a village of the same name.

Many of the ghost stories associated with the hall (and there are a good few) are connected to William Windham III.
Windham inherited the house
Windham took charge of the house in 1749. He absolutely adored spending his free time reading.
