O’Toole began a glittering career after graduating from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, an institution with more famous alumni than you can shake a stick at.
Roger Moore, Joan Collins, Pheobe Waller-Bridge, Anthony Hopkins- even Snape (Alan Rickamn) and Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes). As far as educational institutions go…it’s up there with Hogwarts.

Whilst he stepped back from theatre roles after the 1990s, O’Toole worked extensively in film and TV right up until the 2010s- despite having been born in 1932.
(Dr) Who’s that girl?- O’Toole in ‘Venus’
2006 saw O’Toole star in critically acclaimed feature ‘Venus’, as an aged actor who falls for his friend’s niece during a gallery meet cute. The girl happened to be played by new Dr. Who, Jodie Whittaker.

2007 saw him make a regal cameo in fantasy ‘Stardust’, as the dying King of Stormhold.
