In the twenty years that have elapsed, the team behind the camera have gone on to do some great things too.
Michael Coulter- calling the shots
Coulter was responsible for the cinematography of this nineties classic, and in the years since he’s been involved with a long list of prestigious projects.

From adorable Richard Curtis romcoms like ‘Notting Hill’ (1999) and ‘Love Actually’ (2003), to thrillers ‘Killing Me Softly’ and ‘The Bank Job’, to additional photography on Disney’s ‘Maleficent’- you name it, he’s shot it. Eminem and JLS were, in this case, mistaken: Coulter has significantly more than one shot, but he still clearly makes them count.
Sam Riley
Riley was in charge of art direction on the movie but he’s also an actor. Notably in 2011 he played alongside Helen Mirren in a version of ‘Brighton Rock’.
