We have all heard the famous quote: ‘great things come in small packages.‘ Well, the 1990s and early 2000s certainly blessed us when pint sized Mary-Kate and Ashley graced our TV screens…
Full of charm, beauty and humour; it’s really no surprise that the dynamic duo made over 15 films, before dominating the fashion world. Must be nice, eh?
With SO many films, it’s hard to keep up with all the cast members. Who is still acting? Who still keeps in touch? Who worked for President Obama?

Mary-Kate and Ashley
It would be rude not to start with the two girls that appeared to have everything. Starting at the age of 9 months old, Mary-Kate and Ashley are no strangers to acting.
The 90s really were the best…
Growing up in front of the camera, we pretty much saw everything. Watching them grow into young adults, seeing their acting skills get better and better with each release and, of course, Mary-Kate’s first onscreen kiss. Oooer.

Stealing everyone’s hearts in the early 2000s, we were clinically obsessed. So when they stopped acting after New York Minute, many of us questioned their whereabouts…
Cool as a cucumber
But fear not, they’re still happily working within the industry; they just happened to divert from acting to fashion. Creating their own fashion line The Row in 2006, before adding Elizabeth and James to their list of designs, the twins went from global movie stars to global fashion designers overnight.

Now living a semi-private life in New York City, fashion is their focus. They only really make appearances for galas and awards shows, including the 2018 Met Gala. Go on gals.

Although we’re all still secretly wishing that Mary-Kate and Ashley would release just one more film (New York Minute 2 anyone?), we’re just happy that they’re healthy and focusing on their fashion lines.
