Switching Goals – Kathy Greenwood
The Olsen twins weren’t messing around when it came to acting. They took on roles that were adventurous, glamorous and even athletic. Switching Goals was released in 1999; a family film about sportsmanship, friendship and one of the most famous sports – football (or soccer for you Americans).
See, football isn’t that hard….
Central to the plot were Mary-Kate and Ashley’s (Emma and Sam) mum: Dr Denise Stanton. The down to earth and caring mum, who understood that there was more to life than football. Portrayed by Kathy Greenwood, the actress captured the role perfectly.

Why did they have to like football?
She has also gone on to win many awards, including Best Female Improviser at the Canadian Comedy Awards and the Outstanding New Musical award at the Dora Mavor Moore Awards. Bravo!
