Just over two hours away we have our next US addiction hotspot: the city of Gadsden.

Gadsden has one of the worst opioid problems in the entire country and it is estimated that around 48% of all opioid prescriptions are abused, giving the city an overall drug abuse rate of 9.1%.
46. Pensacola, FL
Pensacola is located in the northern portion of Florida and has a tiny population of just 50,000 people. Unfortunately, the drug problem here is even worse than in Gadsden – with 9.8% of the population hooked on opioids!
