The reproductive system
Female eggs and male sperm are fundamental for human reproduction. I don’t think much more detail is needed…
12. A female human has a lot of eggs
When a girl is first born, she has within her body approximately 1-2 million eggs. (Wowza!)

Throughout puberty she loses many of these. Around 300,000 eggs remain by the time the process is finished. That’s still a great deal, eh?
11. Human skin is completely replaced in a person’s lifetime
We’re always shedding dead skin. You probably notice it most on your feet, or your scalp.

But actually the whole human body sheds its skin. In fact, during one person’s lifetime their skin has been replaced around 1,000 times!
10. The stomach gets embarrassed too
The stomach is large J-shaped bag. It sheds its lining every two weeks. And it also turns red when you blush! Aww, how endearing.
