As if the original wasn’t good enough, a sequel was released in 2001! This time Mary and Colin were middle-aged and Misselthwaite Manor was an orphanage.

Sequels never match up to the original story, but it was a nice take on such a familiar tale!
56. Anime version
Japanese filmmakers created their own version of The Secret Garden, this time in anime form.

It wasn’t released in English so we don’t really know what it’s like, but there enough English language adaptations to keep us busy for a while!
57. Alternative
Recently another version was released, but this time it was a steampunk theme. It’s barely even recognisable from the original!
