The BBC loved it!
Over a period of several years, the BBC put out several different serial adaptations of The Secret Garden.
49. 1952 series
Dorothea Brooking adapted The Secret Garden for the BBC as an 8 episode serial drama.

She was also responsible for further adaptations which also aired on the BBC! You can’t get enough of a good thing!
50. 1975 success
In 1975 The Secret Garden was again adapted for the BBC, and this time it received some notable success!

It was nominated for a BAFTA Television award and also for an Emmy Daytime award.
42. But that wasn’t all…
You would think 2 BBC adaptations would be enough but apparently not! In between the above series, another one was released in 1960.
