It just so happens that we weren’t the only ones moved to tears when Mr Burton helped Mushy to speak without his stammer.

Mushy’s mum, dad and sister were all in tears when they watched the scene for themselves!
26. You’ll Need A Tissue…
It seems everyone knew just how moving Mushy’s assembly speech was going to be -we wish they’d warned us!

Before the pupils stepped into the assembly hall, they were armed with Kleenex by teachers and the camera crew.

What you might not have noticed is that Mr Burton used a method he learned from The King’s Speech to help Mushy overcome his stammer, which involved playing music at the same time as getting him to talk.
