While choosing a filming spot for series 3, the production team spoke to 100 schools, 40 of which they visited.

Still not getting the feedback they hoped for, the team approached 20 more schools only to find that nearly all head teachers in the area didn’t want to be on the show. Ouch!

Things soon changed when Frederick Bremer’s Mr Bispham decided to watch Educating Essex for himself.

The following day, Bispham applied for a spot on the show -much to the relief of the production team!

Fredrick Bremer’s head teacher, Ms Smith, admitted she had to watch the first episode of the series three times because she was so in shock by the sound of her own voice!
