Before the camera couple even start rolling, Pierce was faced with the challenges of his role.

As us fans know, Pierce’s character spent much of the film in monkey form –courtesy of the game.
He did it!
This meant that each day Pierce showed up for work, he had to get into character. He said:
“It was three and a half hours of makeup application every day for almost 70 days, and as a 12-year-old boy, sitting still for longer than five minutes can be challenging.”
