As previously mentioned, Jumanji was turned into a television series just one year after its release.

If you didn’t watch it, then you might not have realised that the TV adaption was completely animated!

The series first aired in 1996, however after releasing 40 episodes which spanned over 3 seasons, the show came to an end.

Unlike the film, the animated children’s series was a huge failure at the time of its release.

This is probably why most of us have never even heard of it, let alone seen it!
Sit up and smell the nostalgia…
In spite of its initial lack of success, recent fans have given the series a very generous 6.2/10!
