21. Something old, something borrowed, something new and something blue.
The Royal family date back to around 1066 AD, with a lot of history and tradition attached to them, it’s safe to say they have their fair share of heirlooms.
Kate’s tiara…
So when it came to choosing her ‘something borrowed’ for the big day, Kate didn’t have to look very far…

Her ‘borrowed’ was a tiara from the Queen herself, which was made by Cartier in 1936 for the Queen’s mother.
It was leant to her by the Queen…
Made with diamonds and platinum, it was passed to the Queen on her 18th birthday; it’s known as the Scroll tiara and has only been worn a handful of times before Kate got her hands on it.

22. The Boris Bike.
We’re often used to seeing Kate and her other half travelling around in sleek black cars, private jets and on occasion, helicopters.
You know, whichever takes their fancy…

But when they’re on trips to London, the Duke and particularly the Duchess often enjoy using the London cycle scheme bikes (Boris bikes) to get around the busy city centre routes.

Boris spilt the beans during an interview with LBC radio station:
‘I don’t know this for certain, but I was told that members of the royal family do use them,’ he told show hosts. I was told that Wills and Kate use them but that may be completely inaccurate.’
