3. You can live in the house from Murder House (Season 1)
Well, if you have got a cool $7.8 million lying around you can. Situated just 15 minutes outside of central Hollywood, you can also rent this property on Airbnb for $1,450 per night!
The Murder House doesn’t look so murder-y in real life
Rosenheim Mansion was built in 1908 by esteemed L.A. architect Alfred Rosenheim as his own personal residence.

The three-story house has six bedrooms, five bathrooms and looks almost completely unrecognisable from the dark and sinister vibe it gives off in Murder House.
Swanky isn’t it?
This house, at 1120 Westchester Place, L.A. was declared a ‘Historic and Cultural Landmark’ in 1999 by the City of Los Angeles.

Clearly an important landmark to the city of L.A., no one can deny it’s importance in perfectly setting the atmosphere for Murder House. Star Dylan McDermott, who plays Ben Harmon, definitely agreed:
“The house is the star of the show”.
The house gave Murder House its eerie atmosphere
The mansion is so famous with fans that previous owners have sued their estate agents for not forewarning them about the hoards of unwelcome visitors the property gets every week. Maybe they should have done their research.
