Playing ‘The Butler Without a Tongue’ in Coven, Denis O’Hare decided to stay in character and refused to speak even when the cameras weren’t rolling.

This sort of method acting is quite popular with a lot of actors, especially when forced to play a role that goes against your natural instincts, such as this one.
Heath Ledger also stayed in character during the filming of The Dark Knight
O’Hare did a brilliant job, and even though he didn’t say a word during his scenes, still managed to encapsulate viewers.
