Yes, you read that correctly. According to crew members, the latex suit that Peters donned in the eighth episode of Murder House was so tight that he needed a ton of lubricant to help him slip into the outfit.

During these scenes, Peters also ripped a lot of latex as the suit was so skin tight that any sudden movement could cause damage.

The fact that he would be turning into the Rubber Man for that episode came as a bit of a shock to the whole cast, who didn’t find out until the day of filming who the character under the mask would be.

Peters also admitted that wearing the suit was oddly cold, and that he had to wear a robe on set so as not freeze to death.
His get-up in season 5 looked a little more comfortable
