Jesse Duke – Denver Pyle
He was the lovable uncle who cared for his nephews and niece on his farm.
He was also known for making moonshine.
However, when the boys got caught selling his moonshine, they were put on probation and stayed on the farm with their Uncle Jesse.

He would often cover up for the boys and even helped them out of many of their scuffles with the local law enforcement.
He took responsibility for his family.
Despite his own illegal pursuits, he was often the moral compass in the family and everyone really depended on his wisdom.

It wasn’t always easy being in charge but he manged to be a great sounding board during all of the adventures that this family had
Although, he was often butting heads with the law himself.
That’s mostly because he was often defending the boys and the actions that they took against the local law enforcement.
