Even after the show ended, James Best was always ready to jump into his character as Rosco P. Coltrane.
He never passed up the opportunity!
This is probably because he knew how much his character impacted the lives of those who watched this show.

Nobody was ready to let these characters go! Therefore, he did his best to make the public happy.
We can see that he’s a great guy!
Therefore, we are glad to hear that he lived a long and full life after this show came to an end.
