Diana: ‘the People’s Princess’.
One of the most photographed people in the world, who will forever be remembered for her kindhearted nature and humanitarian work…
During the 1980s Britain was experiencing an AIDs outbreak, the British public were ‘ignorant’ to the reality of the then untreatable disease and the nation was in turmoil. But – funnily enough – rather than deal with the issue at hand, many politicians of course decided to sweep the issue under the carpet…
Sufferers were shamelessly shunned from society and without a real understanding of the illness, people often and shockingly believed that they could catch HIV/AIDs by simply shaking hands with an ‘infected’ person.
However, the once-common belief that HIV or AIDs could be transmitted by touch was challenged by none other than the nation’s favourite: Princess Di. She was photographed, on many occasions, shaking hands and even hugging AIDs patients. Truly warming the hearts of the nation.
Her empathy towards not only AIDs patients, but everyone she met resulted in her becoming the most ‘likeable’ of the royals (not hard, eh?) – a family who at the time, were often criticised for their ‘cold’ approach to dealing with people.
During her life, she put her privileged position to good use and was a president for over 100 different charities, working across a range of very important issues. She showed depth and compassion in every aspect of her life; but just like anybody, she didn’t always have the easiest time of things. She wasn’t afraid to speak out against ‘her Royal family’ or her struggles with mental health. And this is why the nation could not help but love her.
But little did the nation know that Princess Diana was indeed hiding a dark secret…
Britain’s favourite Princess had a less known ‘dark’ side, which didn’t really come to light until towards the end of her marriage to Prince Charles.
1. Princess Diana was pursued by Donald Trump.
Try not to throw up in your mouth at the thought of Donald Trump pursuing anyone, let alone one of the most beautiful, kindhearted women in the world.
Princess Diana was loved by many…
Back in the 90s, the current POTUS ran in the same circles as the likes of Princess Diana.

‘Trumpty Dumpty’ was lucky enough to be seated at the same table as Diana at the United Cerebral Palsy Humanitarian of the Year Award event.
Even Donald Trump tried it…
With visions of becoming the ‘People’s Prince’, Trump attempted (but failed miserably) to woo her with a free membership at his golf club – how he’s managed to ‘pull’ so many women I will never know.

It didn’t stop there though, he even sent her flowers to Kensington Palace and spoke publicly about his attraction to the Princess.
Here he is…the cheeto in chief…
Lucky for Diana, she lived far enough away from the ‘human sunbed’ to escape his lecherous, tiny hands.
