21. Diana was distantly related to Charles.

What’s a bit of incest between cousins, ey! When it comes to the royals marrying, it seems they like to keep it ‘in the family’.

We all know the Queen and her husband Prince Philip are third cousins (eurgh!).

They were 16th cousins once removed, both descendants of Tudor King Henry VII.

It also turns out their son William is related to his wife Kate Middleton – they are 12th cousins once removed, related through Sir Thomas Leighton. Yikes.
