5. Hemsley and Sanford’s Pet Names
Just like any other married couple, Hemsley and Sanford had pet names for one another.
Cute…
Most of the cast, but Hemsley in particular, referred to Sanford as “The Queen”.

They called her this because of her apparently regal carriage and the aura of authority she carried with her.

However, Hemsley made it clear she wasn’t a diva, but that she was naturally the show’s Queen Bee.

Sanford would go on to call Hemsley “Neck” because she thought he was scrawny and “all neck.”

This just proves the amazing on screen and off screen relationship the two actors had with each others.
