22. The Jefferson Building’s Residents
While many people would willingly move into the building that was shown on a hit TV show like The Jeffersons, it wasn’t a dream come true for the people who actually lived there.
Awkward…
The luxurious Manhattan building shown in the series was actually Park Lane Tower on 185 East 85th Street.

It’s safe to say that the show’s real-life residents were not the biggest fans of the show.
I can imagine why…
In fact, the people who lived in the deluxe condominiums were apparently very annoyed…

This was because their home was constantly being called “The Jefferson Building.”
Yes another piece of adhoc material the producers managed to squeeze into the show. These made for great entertainment and a personal touch.
