18. A Stage Play Reunion
After being disappointed by the underwhelming end to their show, the original cast of The Jeffersons decided to do something about it.
Back together…
So Hemsley, Sanford and Maria Gibbs reunited in 1993 for a stage play which was designed to give the show a proper farewell.

And we, the viewers at home, were definitely glad of it – not being ready to let go of it yet!

Yes another piece of adhoc material the producers managed to squeeze into the show. These made for great entertainment and a personal touch.
