Ann passed away aged 88 in 2014. She was launched into the public eye befoer the show having recieved two Emmy’s for her role in NBC comedy, ‘The Bob Cummings Show’. Ann never completely retired from acting focusing in later years on acting in the theatre. She had significant roles in ‘Arsenic and Old Lace’ and a world tour production of ‘Crazy for You’.

Not only did Ann never marry, she’s never been known to be romantically involved with anyone. She was obviously very private since it must be near impossible to keep everything a secret for all them years.
