On 25 June 2009, aged 50 years old, the world lost one of the greatest musicians of all time in Michael Jackson. The King of Pop inspired millions around the world to reach for the stars and was known for his awesome dance moves and quirky personality. He had 13 number one singles in the US during his solo career and has an estimated 350 million record sales worldwide.

Prince

On 21 April 2016 aged 57 years old, the world lost the amazingly talented Prince. Prince was known for his eclectic work, flamboyant stage presence, extravagant fashion sense and use of makeup as well as his wide vocal range. His innovative music integrated a wide variety of styles, including funk, rock, R&B, new wave, soul, psychedelia and pop.
Prince once said, “Every day I feel is a blessing from God. And I consider it a new beginning. Yeah, everything is beautiful.”
