Everyone knows her as the loud-mouthed Geordie who rose to fame a couple of years ago when she and her family appeared in Channel 4s Gogglebox.

Here’s a shocking insight into the life of Moffatt and her struggles after being diagnosed at 11…

1. She HATES some of the other Goggleboxer’s

She’s previously revealed that Steph and Dom were her least favourite Goggleboxers because they don’t like to speak to any of their co-stars and said she used to have to put on subtitles to understand what they were saying.

“I think they don’t want to because we’re working class. They’re too posh for our banter.”

2. Before Gogglebox, she was asked to be one of the professionals in Strictly Come Dancing

From the age of 6, Scarlett is a trained ballroom dancer and has competed around the UK and Europe. She was trained by none other than Strictly’s Anton du Bek and was asked to star in the show a couple of years ago but turned it down because of Gogglebox.

“I’d love to go on Strictly but I just don’t think they’d let me on.

“I’m basically a ringer, as I’ve danced against some of the professionals in competitions when I was younger.”

Bradley Walsh has told her: “Scarlett, you’ve got to go on Strictly now if you’ve done ballroom. 600 trophies? You’ve got to go on it!”
