14. His death impacted the movie.
Heath sadly died shortly after filming and rumours sparked that the effects of his commitment to the role led to his depression. He left the movie with an air of sadness.

He was involved in the movie The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus but wasn’t able to finish it, so Colin Farrel, Johnny Depp and Jude Law stepped in to play variations of Ledger to complete filming. They donated their paychecks to Heath’s daughter Matilda because Heath hadn’t updated his will before he died to include his daughter.

15. The mask.
During the bank robbery scene, the Joker wears a very weird mask. The mask was seen in the 1960s Batman series and it has some history too it since Cesar Romero wore it.
