11. The explosion was unscripted.
It was agreed that the explosion would be delayed for a while but the button in Heath’s hand was actually the real on/off button. He decided to do his own explosion which wasn’t scripted.

12. Heath stayed in character as much as possible.
Heath loved to skateboard and he used to do it around the set while he was in full Joker costume.

He used to try and make the crew laugh during filming to keep the environment happy and relaxing, whilst he looked like a crazy psychopath.

13. His scars have an actual name.
A Glasgow smile is a gang in Scotland that used to scar their enemies by using knives but often credit cards to keep the mouth open. Heath wanted the scars to look different to what anyone else had seen before. Tommy Flanagan from Sons of Anarchy has a similar scar, but
