5. His inspiration came from Clockwork Orange.

He gained a lot of inspiration from the 1971 classic Clockwork Corange. He looked at the main character Alex De large who was played by Malcolm McDowell and his portrayal in the movie had everyone amazed.

Heath developed a lot of the Joker’s mannerisms from watching the movie over and over again.

6. The Joker Journal.

Heath often carried a journal around with him on set. He wrote a lot of things in it as if he was the joker, it contained ramblings of a mad man, a very strange list and things that the Joker would find funny – blind babies, brain damage and sombreros.

Some say this was when Heath started going way beyond the protocol of somebody trying to get in character for a movie.
