We all know that every good thing really has to come to an end at some point. However sad this may be we move on.

We can all agree that the 70s and 80s was a GREAT time. The food, the music and the clothes were just some of the great things from this decade.

But, sadly, all good things must come to an end!

Here are 13 things we wish were still around so much.

Enjoy!

1. Fresh milk on our doorsteps

This was one of the best things ever when we were younger. We were lucky enough to have fresh bottles of milk on our doorsteps multiple times throughout the week.

This was good because it did support local farmers and you could taste the freshness. We loved having this!

2. How We Used To Live

Can we all remember the days when programmes like this were available for us to watch?

We used to love watching things like this. This was regarded as an educational programme, wasn’t it?! Which was so lucky for us because we actually enjoyed it and found it entertaining!

3. Normal sized Quality Street tins

Who remembers the days when the Quality Street tins were a lot bigger than they are these days? These were the good old days.

You got a considerably larger amount of chocolates than you do these days! It is sad how much they have changed – they need to focus more on the chocolate!

4. Grange Hill

We all remember watching this as kids. We used to LOVE this! It ran for so many years on our televisions. I think that every single kid born in the 70s and 80s watched this when they were younger.

Mr Bronson was one of the scariest teachers EVER. Imagine having a teacher like him? Some of us probably did have a teacher like him at some point when we were at school.

5. Wagon Wheels (before they shrunk!)

We all used to LOVE Wagon Wheels. These were the perfect snack to take into school because they always hit the spot!

Can you believe how much they have decreased them in size? The saddest part is that they are more expensive than they were before too! Sad times.

6. Tudor Crisps

We all remember having these crisps when we were younger, don’t we? There was nothing more delicious than these.

Which of the flavours was your favourite? Mine used to be the gammon flavoured ones by far… so delicious! Bring these back!!

7. Tab Clear

Who remembers when the Coca Cola brand brought out their new drink ‘Tab Clear’? This was delicious.

Sadly, this was taken off our shelves too soon! This was delicious! It is sad that it wasn’t more popular.

8. These two on a Saturday afternoon

We all know that these were the best two wrestlers of our time. We used to be obsessed with watching these guys when we were younger.

We used to try out all the different moves that they did on each other with our siblings. This usually always ended up in tears.

9. The Adventure Game

Who remembers this game that was on our televisions when we were younger? There was nothing we wanted to be on more than this.

This was seriously strange but it was definitely down to some of the special effects that they used.

10. £1 notes

We all remember the days that one pound notes used to be around. The best part was getting multiple of these in your birthday cards back in the day.

You had to pretend like you hadn’t noticed the money falling our your card when you opened it and focus on the words inside. When you had multiple £1 notes you felt seriously rich.

11. Stretch Armstrong

We all remember how good this toy was when we were younger. There was nothing better than getting one of these for your Christmas present.

Me and my brother once wanted to see how far he would stretch. We held him from one side of the lounge to the other and he ended up popping!! The front room was covered in goo… my mum definitely wasn’t pleased!

12. Woolworths Pic n Mix

There was genuinely nothing better than pic and mix when we were younger. The one place that you would go and get it was at Woolworths.

We all had the same trick of eating some along the way. Which of the pic and mix selections were your favourite? There were always so many to choose from. I used to be obsessed with the pineapple chunks!

13. Blue Nun

We ALL remember this drink from when we were younger, don’t we? There was nothing better than taking this out with you.

This definitely brings back SO many memories from when we were at school and underage drinking. We had such good times back then!
