We all dreaded the back to school shop when the time came. However, the one part we LOVED about this task was the stationery.

Here are the 16 pencil cases we all had throughout school.

1. Can of fizzy pop

This was the absolute classic pencil case that every single one of us had throughout school.

I think the most popular was the Pepsi one.

2. Fluffy one

We all know that this was one for the girls.

There wasn’t anything impractical about this, but it always got things stuck to it.

3. One with your favourite football team on

Every boy was a huge fan of a certain football club back in the day.

There was nothing funnier than the arguments boys used to get into over football clubs.

4. The one made completely of zips

We don’t know who invented this – but we ABSOLUTELY loved it.

What we couldn’t stand was the annoying people who were adamant on unzipping it the whole way for no reason.

5. These with three different compartments

These pencil cases started off in pristine condition.

However, they quickly became doodled on excessively.

6. A boring one full of mini images

This was easily the most basic kind of pencil case that you could have been given.

This was seriously boring and practical. But, we all had one of these at some point.

7. Funky Friends

Funky Friends was one of the most popular things when we were younger.

We absolutely HATED it when one of our pens leaked inside the pencil case and ruined it.

8. This horribly tacky one

We all suffered with the most tacky of pencil cases – these were usually bought for us and not out of choice.

Lonsdale was such a tacky brand.
